How to use this directory
India's Specialized Investment Fund category launched on April 1, 2025. As of May 2026, ten AMCs have live SIF schemes and two more (Franklin Templeton and The Wealth Company) have NFOs in process. Each AMC tends to specialise in one or two SIF categories — the strongest Hybrid Long-Short SIFs come from Edelweiss and SBI, the broadest equity lineup from Quant, the only true Active Asset Allocator from 360 ONE.
When evaluating a SIF, the AMC behind it matters as much as the fund mandate. Look at the AMC's track record with derivative-using strategies, their fund-management depth on the relevant asset class (equity for long-short, debt for hybrid), and how transparent they are with risk disclosures. The deep-dive pages above cover each of these.
For pure performance comparison across AMCs, see the side-by-side comparison tool or the ranked list of all 19 SIFs.
