Joined JioBlackRock AMC as Fund Manager - Fixed Income on December 27, 2024 after a long fixed-income fund-management stint at SBI Funds Management from March 2009 to December 2024. Important for Prism because the debt sleeve can be 25-65% of assets.

Has portfolio-management, macro and sector-research experience, including fundamental and quantitative research at D. E. Shaw. He also manages Altiva Hybrid Long-Short Fund.

Later Senior Sales Trader at Investec Capital. Currently Chief Dealer at quant, focused on arbitrage and derivative strategies.

Started money management in 1992-93 at GIC Mutual Fund, the George Soros JV. Founding team member at IDBI AMC, where he had a key role in IDBI I-NITS 95. Held senior roles at ICICI Securities, Kotak Securities and REFCO. As CEO of Quant Broking from 2008 to 2018, led a proprietary derivatives desk with $1B+ daily turnover across equity arbitrage, volatility arbitrage, pair trading, sectoral long-short, event-driven and spread strategies, with no reported yearly or quarterly losses at aggregate level over the 10-year period.

Over two decades of experience across equity, debt, fund management and treasury operations. Manages the fixed-income and money-market sleeve and deploys allied strategies across equity, debt and derivatives.

Joined JioBlackRock AMC in May 2025. Previously a fund manager at Nippon Life India AMC from November 2016 to April 2025 and at Goldman Sachs Asset Management India from August 2011 to November 2016.
